The CCM Jetspeed Vibe Junior Hockey Elbow Pads were specifically designed for Source for Sports to bring recreational level players the best features and value to hit the ice with confidence. The Vibe combines features from the FT475 and adds an internal padded foam donut to provide young players with additional protection and comfort.
Construction
The Vibe is a two-piece elbow pad that is ergonomically shaped to the skater’s forearm, elbow and upper arm. The upper bicep guard is a separate piece attached to the forearm and elbow protection, giving a greater range of motion when skating and puck handling.
Bicep & Forearm Protection
The bicep guard on the FT475 is an independent molded plastic insert that moves with your young player’s arm as he or she needs it. The forearm features a molded plastic insert that wraps comfortably while providing a good level of protection for a recreational level elbow pad.
Elbow Cap
The JDP (Joint Dispersing Protection) elbow caps feature half exposed injected plastic that is designed to disperse impact away from the elbow joint. An upgraded internal padded foam donut has been added to further beef up protection.
Strapping System
The strapping system features 3 separate straps; a bicep guard strap, a lycra mesh strap internal strap, and a forearm strap to keep locked in during all types of movements and puck battles.
Liner
A performance liner designed to wick sweat away to remain locked in at all times and to help keep the elbow pad dry throughout the game.
