Framed Middle Triptych (May be sold separately):  Hidden, although at times in the light of day, slaves while traveling from the south to the north sought freedom from oppression, traveled through a network of safe houses, guided from one station to the next through the Underground Railroad, hoping that shadows cast would help to conceal them from officials and slaveholders who searched for them.
